ATTENTION: HEALTH BENEFITS ENROLLMENT OPPORTUNITY-DEADLINE APPLIES

The Local has received information from our business agent that states the following:

"This is the new letter being sent to PSEs to enroll in Health Insurance. Please share with your locals and have them share with their PSEs. Shared Services has not been getting these letters out timely. They also have changed the information from the first letter, which stated that PSEs could not use PostalEase. They are now letting the PSEs sign up this way if they are getting the APWUCD insurance. They can still sign up for insurance by phone or mail."

We have included a copy of the letter that you can download, in case you have not received yours already.

The letter is in .doc format and will open in Microsoft Word —

Pittsburgh's 2012 Labor Day Parade

Monday, September 3, 2012

The parade begins at 10:00 AM. This is one of the largest Labor Day Parades in the US! Calling all members and their families!

Labor Day Mass will be at St. Benedict the Moor Church at 8:00 AM. The service is for all and one need not be Catholic. The masses celebrate and honor the working men and women of America in a salute to *all* who labor.

This mass is a traditional favorite, don't miss it...

The local will begin setting up during the mass in the East Parking lot. Light refreshments and water will be provided as a courtesy of the Local. Tee shirts and hats will be distributed for all marchers and "goodie bags" will be available for the kids.

This year the Local is providing tickets to the Pirates vs Astros game later in the day.

After the parade and prior to the game, all who marched will head over Red Lot 7A for the after-parade activities. This lot is located near the Clark Building and beneath the Ft. Duquesne Bridge ramp. We will have catered tailgate picnic food and ice cold refreshments. All marchers in attendance at this point will receive tickets for the game.

Remember to bring your own chairs to the tailgate picnic!

There is limited free parking here... when Lot 7A fills up, there are no more free spaces.
